Obsess (to be obsessed): preoccupy or fill the mind of (someone) continually, intrusively, and to a troubling extent

1 note

69°S. by Jessica Grindstaff and Erik Sanko at BAM
Over coffee one morning, they said that emboldened by the success so far of “69°S.,” which had been well-received in its previews, they were thinking — despite the advice of everyone they knew, their agent especially — of breaking the bounds not only of the marionette stage but of theater walls altogether. They were planning an open-air, citywide installation that would feature a string quartet and bell towers, and if they could get a grant to go to Japan and study with kite masters, they wanted to create a piece that would take place in the sky. “Kind of like upside-down marionettes,” Ms. Grindstaff said. “You could lie on your back and watch.”
